NEON DOORWAY
PROJECT 14 / EXPLORING FORM / AI CAMPAIGN

VELANI

A speculative fragrance brand developed from product concept through launch-ready campaign. Bottle and packaging design, brand world, model, environments, original music, still imagery and a sequenced commercial were developed as one connected system.

VIEW CAMPAIGN SYSTEM

Design the product and the world around it.

Velani began as a speculative perfume, but the exercise was never limited to generating a bottle or a set of attractive images. The goal was to build enough of the product, identity and campaign ecosystem that the idea could be understood as a brand ready to move toward market rather than as a disconnected visual experiment.

The project moves from object design into packaging, casting, environments, narrative, motion, music and advertising. Each decision feeds the next. The bottle establishes an object language, the box extends that language into retail presentation, and the campaign places both inside a larger emotional world.

PRODUCT CONCEPT / BRAND WORLD / CAMPAIGN

One idea carried across the entire launch system.

The value of the exercise is continuity. Instead of treating product visualization, packaging and advertising as separate experiments, Velani follows a single concept through the major stages a young luxury product would need in order to present itself coherently.

Generative tools accelerate exploration and production, but the work is still directed: choosing the object, refining the visual language, establishing the model and locations, deciding what happens in each scene, sequencing those events, composing the soundtrack and shaping the final material into one recognizable campaign.

PIPELINE 01

DESIGN / PRODUCT

The perfume begins as an object. Bottle form, materials, proportions and packaging establish the physical language the rest of the campaign has to support.

The campaign starts before the camera.

The bottle and box were designed as the anchors of the project. Before there is a model, room or commercial, the fragrance needs a recognizable physical presence. That makes product design part of the art direction rather than an object dropped into the campaign after the visual world has already been decided.

Packaging extends the concept into something that can be imagined on a shelf, in an unboxing sequence, in product photography or as the final object revealed by the film. Together, bottle and box make the speculative brand feel closer to a manufacturable proposition and give every marketing asset a consistent hero object.

MODEL / ROOMS / LOOK + OPEN

Create the campaign world before creating the ad.

The model, wardrobe, rooms, lighting and visual references establish the campaign's tone. AI becomes a production environment for exploring those choices, but the useful skill is maintaining direction across many outputs so the woman, product and spaces continue to feel like parts of the same brand.

Still images serve both as finished campaign material and as visual anchors for motion. This creates a library of brand assets that can move between editorial layouts, social posts, website imagery, launch decks and commercial sequences without rebuilding the aesthetic from scratch each time.

A sequence, not a montage.

The commercial gives the campaign a simple narrative spine: the model is preparing for and moving toward an event. Individual generated shots are organized as connected moments rather than unrelated luxury imagery. The sequence gives the viewer a sense of progression and lets the fragrance live inside a small authored story.

Motion, pacing and original music are assembled around that progression. The soundtrack is not an afterthought or stock layer. It becomes another authored component of the brand atmosphere, helping transitions and reveals feel like one finished advertisement rather than a collection of generated clips.

VELANI / CAMPAIGN FILM PLAY

A launch needs more than one hero image.

Velani was developed as a family of deliverables rather than a single AI artifact. Product imagery can explain the object. Model and room photography can establish the lifestyle. Motion can carry narrative. Packaging can make the concept tangible. Music can establish an audible identity. Together they make the idea easier to evaluate, pitch and potentially move toward production.

PRODUCTBOTTLE DESIGN

A hero object establishes the fragrance's physical identity and provides a consistent focus across campaign assets.

PACKAGINGBOX DESIGN

The retail object extends the visual system beyond the bottle and helps the concept read as a complete product.

CASTINGAI MODEL

A campaign figure is developed to embody the brand and carry continuity across still and moving material.

WORLDROOM + ENVIRONMENT

Locations and interiors create the visual territory surrounding the product and provide settings for the narrative.

MOTIONCOMMERCIAL SEQUENCE

Individual moments are ordered into an event-driven story instead of presented as disconnected generated shots.

SOUNDORIGINAL MUSIC

An authored soundtrack supports pacing, atmosphere and the emotional identity of the finished advertisement.

Move from an undefined product to a complete brand presentation.

The process is useful as a model for contemporary concept development. A product can be explored visually, refined, packaged and placed inside a campaign before the cost of a traditional full-scale production is committed. That does not remove design direction. It makes direction more important because many more parts of the idea can now be tested.

STAGE 01

CONCEPT

DEFINE THE PRODUCT

Establish the fragrance as a brand proposition and decide what kind of object, customer and emotional territory the campaign should communicate.

Prototype the launch, not only the object.

Exploring Form 02 expands the idea of form beyond the physical object. In the first Exploring Form study, form is learned through clay, structure, surface and material. Here, form includes the product, package, person, room, soundtrack, narrative and the visual rules that make all of them feel like one brand.

For a smaller company or an early product concept, that kind of integrated development can create a high-end presentation without immediately requiring the budget of a traditional luxury campaign. The useful outcome is not simply cheaper imagery. It is the ability to visualize more of the system earlier, make decisions in context and arrive at production with a much more complete picture of what is being built.

VELANI / FINAL VIEW

Ready to present as a product world.

The final campaign brings the work back together: designed fragrance object, packaging, model, environments, still campaign imagery, moving commercial and original music. The project demonstrates the distance a concept can travel before physical manufacturing or a conventional campaign shoot begins.
